Top Tip: Even if you’ve been coming to our mountains for years, guidelines are quite a bit different this season so check with the resort ahead of your visit!

If you are looking for a place to ski or board near Vancouver BC, look no further than Vancouver’s North Shore mountains.

The North Shore mountains are a mecca for snow sports enthusiasts during the winter months. Whether you want to ski, snowboard or cross-country ski, Cypress Mountain, Grouse Mountain and Mt Seymour all offer downhill ski and snowboard terrain for all levels.

Our local mountains are all open late for night skiing and riding under the lights.

Snow Sports at Mt Seymour

Mt Seymour is a favourite with families. Accessible by car, Mt. Seymour has runs for skiers and snowboarders alike. Mt Seymour has over 200 acres of downhill ski and snowboard terrain with 39 trails, 5 lifts (1 high-speed quad, 2 double chairs, 1 covered magic carpet, 1 tots area magic carpet) and four terrain parks. 12 trails plus all-terrain parks are equipped with night lighting. Mt Seymour’s terrain park is one of the most recognized in the area. The terrain park incorporates several distinct areas catering to the varied abilities. Trail break down: novice 40%, intermediate 40%, advanced/expert 20% with 330m of vertical drop.
